About our customer

JRZ Precision is an automotive and janitorial supply distributor located in New Jersey. They came to us with an interesting problem for their business model. Together we came up with a solution.

Their business model is based on trucks taking different daily routes depending on the sales that day and the other possible customers they have in a similar area. One of their largest issues for growth was customer retention. Since their competitors have a similar business model, they were losing customer retention/sales to the competition making sales on days their trucks couldn't reach that particular area.

For a solution, our team of engineers decided to create an automated messaging system for their previous customers. The system was created using Python, Twilio, Amazon EC2, and Bash shell scripting.

This system sends automated messages to their customers on specific days according to their truck route for the day. If a customer responds directly to the message, it will then be forwarded directly to their sales manager, who can respond accordingly to the customer.

This saved their company countless hours in sales calls every day, allowing their team to focus on other endeavors to grow their business. This also increased their customer retention by a large margin immediately, growing their yearly revenue with minimal cost.
